Story behind the song
A subject I have always been fascinated with. Humanity, what makes us who we are? Where is the human race heading? Do peoples beliefs define them? What mysteries does life hold? These are the thoughts and ideas I used to come up with this song.
Lyrics
Cosmic Perspective -Chorus- Gazing to the stars Holding great mystery Do they decide our fate? Guiding our journey Is destiny set in stone? -Chorus- Gazing to the stars Holding great mystery Do they decide our fate? Guiding our journey Is destiny set in stone? -Verse- Time stands still, as I ponder We choose our beliefs, are they written in stone? (In stone) Look to the sky, for the answers It’s hard to believe we’re in this universe alone ..all alone -Verse 2- Why are we here? Philosophers wonder Gods from above, demons from under We cherish our lives but to who we owe them Billions of stars, and our planet chosen Countless years, we’ve been evolving Destroying our world, now we're exploring the stars The stars -Verse 3- What will we find? What’s to discover? Life’s mysteries, we will uncover Will we find other beings different from us? Searching through the universe, just like us Travel through space, is that our future? Unite as one race for the endeavor Religions have shaped us, but tore us apart Humanity’s future must forge a new start -Chorus- Gazing to the stars We unlock the mystery Vision and prophecies, there’s so many mysteries A cosmic perspective, Enlightened state of mind
